FREELANCE

I work as a freelance graphic designer building brands and communities through creative strategy and art direction.

01. TERTIA, SINGLE ARTWORK, 2023

Tertia needed artwork for her new single ‘Infrared’, targeting a Gen-Z audience. The song expresses those post break-up feelings when you crave contact, knowing it will feel good short-term but that it is not sustainable satisfaction.

For this project I collaborated with creative accelerator Georgia Gibson where we joined forces in ideation and technical production. For us, this image fragmented between trays developing in a dark room embodies the idea of preserving a romanticised but disrupted image of someone, as you want to remember them.

02. BLUME, SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT, 2024

Blume is a German rock band who needed some creative social media content to spice up their digital presence. I worked videographer Alfie Fisher who photographed the band in Berlin. I was asked to compose the photos in any creative way I wanted, so naturally, I cut and pasted them on a mountain.

03. KINGS PLACE, CAMPAIGN IDENTITY CONCEPTS, 2024

Whilst completing an internship at Binomi Design I conceptualised and developed two identity ideas for Kings Places’s 2025 Earth Unwrapped, the 17th edition of their award-winning year-long series, this time sharing tales of the Anthropocene.

Both concepts followed a theme of juxtaposing natural vs man-made elements.

04. QBQ, VISUAL IDENTITY, 2023

Qu Bagheri, the man behind QBQ is bringing authentic Texas BBQ to the people of North West and West London. To move this operation Qu is about to launch his social media to document and celebrate the art of smoking foods.

To add some credibility and cohesion to this online presence I produced logo variations which are driven by the impressive form of a Backyard Smoker whilst connecting to his Iranian roots by using the Persian alphabet in the smoke reading ‘smoky’.

05. CECILIO, MOTION GRAPHICS, 2023

Cecilio is a DJ who played at London’s Lion and Lamb in October 2023. I worked with videographer Alfie Fisher to produce the motion title for his promotional film for Cecilio.

I designed a melting effect into the title to communicate the psychedelic fluidity of Cecilio’s music.

06. FIREWORK FACTORY STUDIO, VISUAL IDENTITY, 2023

Based in a wing of Woolwich Works, Firework Factory Studio is building a collective of talented young creatives to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration between musicians, artists, film makers and more. They came to me seeking a visual identity that would enthral the attention of a Gen-Z audience.

The acronym for Firework Factory Studio was right there and too perfect to ignore if we wanted to catch Gen-Z’s eyes. So I leant into the popular text slag ‘ffs’ and produced a minimal letter-mark logo, lowercase to connect to its casual use over digital communication platforms.

07. FOLA SUSTAINABILITY, VISUAL IDENTITY, 2024

Fola is a specialist nature consultancy, they offer value for business and society by driving understanding, accountability and action on nature. With the mission of mainstreaming their conviction that a healthy planet is essential for business.

Fola’s name derives from the four realms of Earth: Freshwater, Oceans, Land and Atmosphere, and the founders were keen to incorporate these natural elements into the logo design. I composed these notions into a minimal and geometric logo, drawing on modernist and simple forms to present a mountain, ocean waves, flat fresh water and a bird flying to represent air / atmosphere.

08. ART IN THE EXTREME, VISUAL IDENTITY, 2023

Art in the Extreme is a collective of artists who travel the world and share with others the importance of art and creativity. Fuelled by adventure and curiosity, no habitat is too inhospitable, too inaccessible or too dangerous for them.

I designed a wordmark and icon logo for Art In The Extreme. Assisting them to add visibility and cohesion to their Instagram presence and further brand content

09. BALAR DESIGN, VISUAL IDENTITY 2023

Balar Design is an interior design brand run by Nathalie Walker. At Balar, they believe in curating a home that is your sanctuary, a place to unwind, re-charge and reflect the people that live there.

I worked with Nathalie to produce her visual identity and website, embracing her flare for blending the old and new and working in clean lines.

10. ROSIE SHAW, VISUAL IDENTITY + MERCHANDISE, 2023

Singer-songwriter, Rosie Shaw has just released her debut EP ‘Summer Doesn’t Feel The Same’ and we decided that she needed a logo and some personalised T-shirts to accompany this exciting launch.

11. SALLY CAN’T SWIM, BRAND IDENTITY, 2021

I am the head of graphic design at Sally Can’t Swim, an intimate university events organisation.

I designed a brand identity for Sally Can’t Swim that aligns with their core intentions; being approachable, bold and definitely not taking themselves too seriously.

12. FUSTA, LOGO DESIGN, 2020

Fusta is an independent DJ who needed a logo to further his visibility. I designed the typography using a grid system on Adobe Illustrator.
